We are very close to completing an iPhone/iPodTouch application that will view an iPhotoWebShare site. Viewing iPhotoWebShare pages in Safari on the iPhone doesn't work very well. This application will display thumbnails and photos in much the same way as the standard Photos application.

Hello!It's been quite a while since our last post so we wanted to inform you of what's been going on.We switched our site's host to Host Monster. The web page generated by iPhotoWebShare has a drop down menu to select an iPhoto library. Every iPhotoWebShare site I've visited only has one entry in this list. Most people assume (understandably) that the pull down menu is for users that have more than one iPhoto library. What most people haven't realized is that you can increase the number of entries in the list with only one iPhoto library!

The feedback from the beta testers has been very positive. It looks like the few issues remaining in v1.1 have been addressed.The one new feature we're adding is a simple name and password to restrict access to your photo library. Most of the support is in place. By tomorrow night, we should be ready to test (maybe send it out to the beta testers.)

We've distributed a beta copy of iPhotoWebShare v1.2 to some volunteer testers. This version mostly fixes a few bugs that were introduced in v1.1 when we went to the paged thumbnail view. It also tried to fix internationalization issues (support for foreign character sets.)Although it's not in the beta that went out tonight, Charlie and I are going to try to get some basic authentication support
